Welcome, ladies and gents, to the 360th post on Spoken like a true smartass!
I have had a great weekend doing three of my all-time favorite things!! 1)Hanging out with a great friend, 2)Playing with World's Cutest Baby, and 3)Taking pictures!
I have to write a quick shout-out to the World's Greatest Roommates and thank them for taking such wonderful care of my babies this weekend. Fuji and Kodak looked twice as big when I got home and it had been less than 48 hours since I'd seen them last. haha!
I will fill you in on the goings on of the weekend once I get the pictures downloaded. THAT could take awhile. :)
But since I am now wired and not sure I could fall asleep, I will leave you with the following:
TEN YEARS AGO I...
*I had just finished the 7th grade and had moved from Enid,OK to Quincy, IL with my family. I was beginning the 8th grade in a new school with a whole new set of teenage angst.
*I was about to lose my father's mother and my mother's father to lung cancer.
FIVE YEARS AGO I...
*I was packing up my life in cardboard boxes and once again, saying goodbye to my friends. I was now moving with my mother back to Oklahoma after my dad left.
*I had just graduated high school and was dreading going away to college. I felt like I needed to be the rock for my mom.
*I moved 2 months later to Oklahoma where I lived with my Grandmother and my mom for 5 months. It was the LONGEST five months of my life, but I am eternally greatful to my grandmother.
ONE YEAR AGO I...
*was beginning to attend college after a long absence from the world of education. I had been working full time as the office manager of a vet clinic and had put off school for a loooong time. I had moved out of the house I shared with my mom and was now living with roommates. It was awesome! I was still on the outs with my dad, but working on rebuilding the relationship.
*drove to El Reno to see my dear friend Kristen and her baby Reagan, the World's Cutest Baby! We went to a soccer game that was ultimately canceled and then we hung out with Kristen's family. We went to dinner and had a great time!
